Saudi Arabia: Inflation comes in at highest level since February in September
Latest reading: Inflation came in at 1.7% in September, up from August’s 1.6%. September’s reading was the highest inflation rate since February. Looking at the details of the release, housing and utilities prices rose at a quicker pace in September compared to the previous month.
The trend was unchanged, with annual average inflation coming in at August’s 1.6% in September.
Lastly, consumer prices rose 0.13% from the previous month in September, accelerating from the 0.07% increase logged in August.
