Serbia: Industrial output growth moderates in August
Latest reading: Industrial output rose 0.9% compared to the same month of the previous year in August, which was a deterioration from July’s 4.6% increase. The deceleration was driven by a contraction in mining output and a smaller increase in manufacturing production.
Meanwhile, the trend pointed down, with the annual average growth of industrial production coming in at 0.9% in August, down from July’s 1.7% reading. On a monthly basis, factory output increased 0.7% in seasonally adjusted terms in August, rebounding from July’s 0.8% fall.
