Serbia: Industrial output growth picks up pace in September
Latest reading: Industrial production rose 4.6% year on year in September (August: +0.9% yoy). The improvement was broad-based: Mining output rebounded, manufacturing production grew at a faster pace, and electricity, gas, steam and air conditioning supply fell at a slower rate.
Meanwhile, annual average industrial production growth fell to 0.7% in September (August: +0.9%), signaling a worsening trend in the industrial sector. On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose at a faster rate of 2.0% in September (August: +0.7% mom s.a.).
