Slovenia: Economic sentiment falls to 11-month low in October
Latest reading: Economic sentiment fell to 95.5 in October from September’s 96.8, marking the worst result since November 2023. As a result, the index remained below the long-term average of 100, pointing to a muted near-term outlook for the economy.
The headline print reflected deteriorating sentiment in the industrial sector and among consumers. Additionally, confidence in the services and retail sectors worsened. That said, confidence in the construction sector improved.
Regarding indicators that are not used to calculate the index, employment expectations deteriorated, while the economic uncertainty index remained stable in October.
