Slovenia: Industrial output rebounds in October
Latest reading: Industrial output rose 3.4% year on year in October (September: -0.3% yoy). Looking at the details of the release, the rebound was largely driven by accelerations in manufacturing and mining output growth. Moreover, energy production contracted at a milder pace.
On a monthly basis, factory output grew 2.2% in seasonally adjusted terms in October, which was above September’s 1.8% expansion. Accordingly, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 1.7% in October, up from September’s minus 2.4%.
