Slovenia: Industrial output bounces back in December
Latest reading: Industrial output rose to 1.9% in year-on-year terms in December, rebounding from November’s 1.9% decrease. Looking at the details of the release, a rebound in manufacturing production and stronger momentum in mining output drove the improvement. That said, electricity and gas supply declined at a faster rate.
On a seasonally adjusted monthly basis, industrial output rose 1.2% in December (November: -1.8% mom s.a.). Meanwhile, the trend improved, with the annual average variation of industrial production coming in at minus 1.2% in December, up from November’s minus 1.6%.
