Slovenia: Harmonized inflation drops to lowest level since March 2021 in September
Latest reading: Harmonized inflation came in at 0.7% in September, down from August’s 1.1%. September’s figure represented the lowest inflation rate since March 2021. The deceleration was largely due to steeper falls in prices for transport plus housing and utilities.
In addition, the trend pointed down, with annual average harmonized inflation coming in at 2.9% in September (August: 3.4%). Meanwhile, consumer price inflation fell to 0.7% in September from the previous month’s 0.9%.
Lastly, harmonized consumer prices rose 0.20% from the previous month in September, following August’s flat result. September’s result was the highest reading since May.
